Natural remedies for dry skin –
Beetroot and Tomato
For this recipe, you will need half beetroot, half tomato, a spoon of rice flour, a spoon of gram flour. Grind all of these ingredients in a mixer together to make a paste. Apply this paste on your face for 20 minutes then wet your hands and rub your face in circular motions for 2-3 minutes. Wash it off and you’ll see the results instantly. This recipe doesn’t only reduce the dryness, but also give your face an instant glow and add a hint of scarlet to your cheeks. The paste can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 days. Best to apply twice or thrice a weak.
Aloe Vera Gel
Extract the aloe vera gel and apply it directly on your face, then leave it for 30 minutes and wash. Along with reducing the skin dryness it also lightens acne marks. It can be applied on daily basis. It’s best to apply the gel of freshly cut aloe vera leaf than the store bought one. Also, Aloe Vera increases skin elasticity and keeps it well hydrated. It also deeply moisturizes the skin without leaving it greasy and provides oxygen to the skin.
Yogurt and papaya recipe
Take half cup of yogurt and add three tablespoons of mashed papaya to it, mix properly. Apply the blend on your skin for 10 minutes before rinsing it off. Yogurt is a magnificent skin-hydrating agent. Furthermore, its cell reinforcement and calming properties help relieve dry and irritated skin. Its effects get doubled when mixed with papaya. Take two spoons of melted petroleum jelly, add two spoons of Aloe Vera gel and a few drops of rose water to it. Now, mix all the ingredients together and the serum is ready to use. Store this serum in a small vessel and apply daily on your face in the night before going to bed. Wash your face in the morning and you will see this amazing glow and softness on your skin.
Coconut oil can be directly applied to the patch of dry-flaky skin and even dry lips. The oil keeps the skin well-hydrated, healthy and also protects it from various diseases. You can also massage it all over your body to keep it smooth and supple. Best to apply at night.
Add a cup of sea salt in your bathtub and soak in it for 15 minutes to get the smoothest of skin. You can also use it as a scrub, mix a teaspoon of sea salt with a half teaspoon of sugar, damp your skin and rub the salt and sugar mixture for a minute. Apply this scrub twice a week.
